Beyond The Classroom
Learning that reaches beyond school hours, into music, movement, faith and the whole community.
Where learning keeps going after the school bell
Beyond The Classroom brings together all the activities that happen outside our regular lessons at Kejora. Think music lessons, sports classes, weekly swim lessons in the sea, religious education, dance, yoga and hands-on creative workshops that change with the seasons.
Some sessions happen every week, others come around monthly, but together they turn the school into a lively second home where children get to try new things, discover hidden talents and build confidence far beyond the classroom walls.
The program runs all year and is open to the whole community: Kejora children, their families, neighbours from around the island, and curious visitors who happen to be in Karimunjawa at the right moment.
