Where the Island Practices English Together
Kejora Connect Corner is a free activity open to everyone in Karimunjawa. In a relaxed evening setting, with a good drink and good company, adults get together to chat casually in English, guided by one of our KLS English teachers.
The focus is on building the confidence to speak. Foreign visitors are regularly invited to join, giving locals the chance to practice with native speakers and test the skills they've been learning in class.
Anyone can join, and if it feels like a good fit, they're warmly welcome to sign up for our KLS English courses to keep growing.

Why it matters
Speaking a new language takes practice and, most of all, confidence. Connect Corner is designed as a gentle, low-pressure entry point: a place where anyone can show up, listen, join in and slowly find their voice in English.
From Connect Corner to KLS
For those who want to go further, Kejora's Language School (KLS) offers structured English courses for children and profession-focused classes for adults. Many of our KLS students first walked in through Connect Corner.
